                                           About the Artist

I knew at a young age that art was my passion.  Being a self-taught artist for many years of my life, I attended my first formal class in Bauernmalerei (European Painting) technique nearly thirty years ago.  Since then, I have actively pursued my dream and have constantly taken continuing education classes to further my art career.  My decorative painting background includes a collection of several teaching certifications involving many styles and techniques including:  Certification to teach Bob Ross Technique of Painting Landscapes, Certification to teach Bob Ross Technique of Painting Florals, Certification to teach Coulter Grisaille Technique, and lastly, certification to teach FolkArt One Stroke Donna Dewberry Technique.  Furthermore, I was awarded Fashion Show: Most Elegant presented by Donna Dewberry of Dewberry Designs, Inc., and was awarded Second Place Winner in the Professional Category at Kaswood International 2003.  In addition, I have attended many classes instructed by Gary and Kathwren Jenkins, and I have completed Heather Redick's Fundamental Skills program. Currently, my latest endeavor has been to receive extensive training in portrait painting under the instruction of Valerie Stewart.

Expressions By You studio in historical Attleboro, MA

I occasionally schedule teaching seminars to larger groups of students at my remote Expressions by You studio located in historical downtown Attleboro, MA.  In addition, I teach weekly classes to a regular clientele in my home studio in North Attleboro, MA, in which my students are able to bring their own project of choice.
